Myths and Reality: A new category

I am tired of it. I am tired of the lies, tired of the mis-information, tired of the attempts of people to sell you a bunch of whooey. (Yes, that is the technical term.)

So, now, I am going to start fighting back. How? Easy. Through my blog. I am going to start telling you about these myths and then I will tell you the reality. The myths are everywhere: advertisements, blogs, websites. You name it, insurance and personal injury myths are everywhere. And I am going to create a new category on the blog just for these myths.

Of course, since this is reader based, I want your input too. If you see something that seems too good to be true or if you hear something and you want the real information, tell me about it. I will do the research and post it here. I will tell you if it is a myth or reality.

my water damage claim with CSAA is being denied after months of delay on the processing of my claim and following serial visits from vendors supplied by CSAA to dismantel and remove mold/dry rot from my bedroom and bathroom. now that 1/3 of my house is uninhabitable, the insurance company's field adjuster, mr. stevan muir is denying my claim for various reasons and retracting an offered settlement made when the company first recognized the mistakes made in the handling of my claim. since then i have gotten nothing but broken promises and lies.

anyone else getting the same treatement from CSAA in northern califnornia?

Excellent idea Jonathan. An easy start would be the slogans of the various insurance companies -- "You're in Good Hands," etc. I can't think of one that's accurate.
